Dear 2020, I don’t know how much more we can take.

This year has seen the most crushing series of events unfolding without pause and hammering our hearts and souls. We’ve endured an ongoing pandemic with 200,000 covid deaths, the shutting down of our economy, the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Daniel Prude and more, a climate crisis manifest in unprecedented forest fires and hurricanes, a president set on creating turmoil and chaos by empowering racists and bigots, a presidential election dividing our nation, attacks on American institutions like the Post Office and EPA, people refusing to wear masks, icebergs crumbling, and now this . . . the biggest most painful gut punch . . . the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Our stomachs are weak and the dark cloud hanging above of what is yet to come is still there.

We must announce the launch of our new t-shirt, one that sums up this shared experience.

The Internally Screaming t-shirt is designed by Maret Bondorew of Frog & Toad Press and screen printed individually by our friends at Riverzedge in Woonsocket, an arts non-profit that teaches our youth important skills for furthering careers in the arts.

Maybe before we take action for change it will help a little to see that you are not the only one screaming on the inside EVERY DAMN DAY.
